January 23, 2023 – Park walk and LrC editing
For this exercise I decided to add 2 different styles of editing. I adjusted the first edit myself playing with lots of the different controls. I wanted to make my kids the centre focus of the photographs, so I dropped some of the saturations of the backgrounds and played with the light in each to really define parts of their faces and expressions(both kids were actually really happy I jumped in front of the camera, requesting these were taken. Don’t let their somber faces fool you.) For the B&W edit I found a couple of my favourite built in presets and tried those out on top of my person color edits. I’m really happy with how these turned out.
All pictures were taken in Manual mode and making my own adjustments depending on the light and settings around me.
