I learned alot with this piece. I found I actually really enjoyed working with developing the doors and the shadows. Working on making a 2D object start to have a 3D effect is something I hadn’t really worked with before this class. This piece could use alot of work and I will definitely work more trying to develop this process in the future.
The content of this piece is 2 doors. Both doors are mostly closed and you can only see little bits of the rooms behind them. It is the view from my bedroom/work space. My kids were behind the door on the right playing with their legos and I could hear their little voices playing and having fun while I worked. This is a work space I created out of necessity of needing to be around for my kids. The view gives me so much gratitude of what I’m able to accomplish all at the same time. It’s a very meaningful place for me.
