Google Drive is a file storage platform tied to a users google account. It is a place where you can upload and save files as well as share files with others by adjusting permissions and sending them a link. It can be a very useful tool and a good way to keep your computer free of having to use up too much memory.
It makes money by tiered memberships. There is a free option which allows you to be able to receive and share a minimum amount of files, only up to a base memory amount. Once that is used up there are tiered membership amounts depending on how much storage you require and/or use.
