Colour Basics
In this exercise we learned how to colour correct within a video. Personally I found this really fun, since I actually love photography and playing with colour altering images to get the right mood of cohesiveness to images.
Colour Curves
In this exercise we learned how to use curves to edit colour and colour matching from different clips. This one I found a bit tougher. I’m not a huge fan of curve editing, although I know how useful it can be. The other difficult part for this part of the tech ex was trying to compare and match with AI when the shots were from indoors and outdoors, ultimately causing matching and copy/paste editing difficult to not possible. I’ve always found that interior and exterior lighting requires a lot more involvement to match.
