‘Not your average cup of tea‘
This piece was interesting for me. I’ve never worked with the hatching process before or on paper this large.
The content of this piece is a snapshot of my desk at home. I am a heavy reader and can usually be found with a cup of tea, curled up with a good book. So, when we were asked to develop something I thought of this one. I chose not to add any detail to the picture frame or books, because I felt it would take away from the simplicity of the scene I was working on conveying.
I’m not sure that I’ll work much with the hatching process in the future, but it was fun to experiment and play with.
